Speed Up Your System a few clicks Away !

Do the following steps to improve your system performance without lossing the vissual styles !

General
Go to bios then enable the cache memory L1&L2 .. (refer your bios manual)
Set your Hard Disk drive as First Bootable device
Disable Floppy seeking in boot and try other boot devices options......

Windows XP & Higher

Go to Control panel and open System

  • Go to 'Advanced' tab then Click 'Error Reporting' then tick 'Disable Error Reporting' ,OK.
  • Go to 'Advanced' tab then click 'Settings' under 'Performance'.
  • Choose 'Custom' under 'Visual Effects'.
  • Uncheck all the ticks.
  • Tick only the last three options and 'Smooth edges of screen fonts' .

Go to Desktop then right click at empty area then choose 'Properties'

  • Goto 'Appearance' tab under 'Display Properties'
  • Then choose 'Effects'
  • Uncheck all the options , Check only the Second Option 'Use the following method ...... ' then choose 'ClearType' from the pulldown menu.
  • Click OK , Apply then OK

After all run Defragment utility for all Hard Disk partitions / drives.

Your System will run faster than before !

You can also speed up your system by disabling all the Visual Effects , After this your system looks like older Windows like 2000,98..
